About the OACDP

The Ontario Alliance of Career Development Practitioners is an inclusive organization that provides strategic leadership to the Ontario partners in career development. We promote best practices through the communication of information and the adoption of common standards and guidelines to enhance client-centered service delivery.

Member practitioners will maintain currency and deliver effective career development services that provide up-to-date and emerging career and labour market information. Practitioners support and advance the career satisfaction and self-sufficiency of consumers and ultimately contribute to the prosperity, growth, and well-being of Ontario society.

Currently, registration to become a member into the OACDP is on hold, as research is done into certification of the CDP standard and future accreditation.  Registration is expected to resume in the end of the 2012 year, and until then you are able to participate through the website or other local events that will be promoted through the local chapters.
